Brine Shrimp Eggs - 450gm

Our premium brine shrimp eggs are super easy to hatch and perfect for reef tanks or feeding baby fish!

Hatching instructions:

• Mix 25 to 35 grams of salt (around one tablespoon) per liter of tap water and add about 2 grams of brine shrimp eggs per liter.
• For best results, if using regular table salt, include 3 grams (a teaspoon) of baking soda.
• Keep the water temperature steady between 26°C and 29°C (don’t let it go above 30°C, as this is a common cause of poor hatches).
• Ensure vigorous mixing by placing an airline at the bottom of your hatching container. Avoid using an air stone.
• Add the eggs to the water, and keep the air running to keep them suspended.
• In about 18 to 30 hours, the eggs will hatch into tiny, nearly microscopic baby brine shrimp called nauplii.
• To harvest, stop the aeration after 24 hours, wait 10 minutes for the nauplii to settle at the bottom while the empty shells float.
• Siphon the nauplii through a sieve, rinse them gently with fresh water, and feed them to your animals.
